My Little Pony: The Movie AU where Twilight gets turned to stone at the beginning.
I've mentioned before that I was considering putting Michael in that Newverse-esque story with the Orre protagonists in Kludgetown, but now I'm not so sure. He'd probably end up feeling superfluous, and I don't know how to write him.
I've tried watching two let's plays of XD (by TheJWittz and chuggaaconroy), but I just couldn't get into either of them. I can't buy the game because it's way out of my price range, and PAL copies are quite hard to come across.
Recently, I've had a story idea about Wes and Rui ending up in Kludgetown, and I've been considering setting it in this alternate continuity I've been talking about. While I could set it in the Newverse and not have to worry about contradicting anything, I think putting it in a new continuity would make it easier for me to do what I want.
Recently, I've been reading about the Lunaverse. I was impressed by how detailed the universe bible was despite it being unfinished, and realised how disorganised the Newverse was by comparison. I was just reading RainbowDoubleDash's blog post about the premise of the Lunaverse, and realised that was a good way to express the concept of the "Renewedverse".
First of all, this hypothetical "Renewedverse" needs a permanent name. Any ideas? "A New World, A New Way" is a contraction of a line from Pokémon Johto, so maybe I could base the title on another Pokémon theme song? It also has a word - Way - that frequently gets slotted out in side-story titles.
...But maybe I'm being over-ambitious. Zeus didn't plan for a verse.
Recently, I made a blog post about what the Newverse would be like if it followed canon, followed shortly by a thread about the idea of a pseudo-reboot.
I've seen several people suggesting the idea of a Newverse reboot. While I like the idea in theory, rebooting someone else's story is kind of rude, especially when there's fifty-odd stories attached to it.
Unfortunately, I can't pay you in real money. If you are interested, please show me some examples of your work.
