Written in two hours, this story is based on a nightmare I had recently.

I haven't been active on this site as much lately and I feel I have a responsibility to explain why. Mostly it's work-related issues. I've been hired full time for a few months now and I'm still settling in. We're hiring a lot of new people and I've just been so tired getting home that I just clock out. Just an update: I am almost finished with the next chapter of the story. Just a couple more pages before I begin editing. I will try to have it posted by tomorrow night, Monday at the latest.

Wow. A lot of people seem to really like this story. I often write fics that get a lot of likes but almost no reviews. Fimfiction has spoiled us with that thumbs up/down option. "Why back in my day, if ya'll like a story ya'd review it. Ain't no point likin' it if ya'll don't tell the darn writer why." - And that was my very poor hillybilly on a porch impression.
