IMO, death is an eternal astral projection. You don't have to worry about physical limitations and you can do whatever the hell you want. Nobody can hurt you, nobody can tell you what to do. You're just... free. Once you leave your body you'll just take one last look at it before you finally realize you're free. You'll quickly come to terms with the fact you're not in your body anymore and you'll finally be truly happy.

But that's just my take on it. Let's hear your theories!
