My favorites are getting a little unwieldy at the moment, so I'm sorting them. Or at least trying to.

If I've only got one or two stories from a particular author in my favorites, they'll stay there. Otherwise, they'll go into their own specially-designated bookshelves here on the site. Nothing wrong with that, I think.

First chapter for "A Daring Day" will be going up on September 8. Remaining chapters will follow each Friday afterwards.

The next installment for the Quiververse Blooper Reel is going up on November 15th.

The first chapter for "A Mad Pony in a Box" will be posted on November 23rd.

Beyond that, I make no promises.

I've got good news, folks. "A Daring Day" is currently sitting at just under 6,100 words, a number which will grow over the course of this coming week. I'm cautiously optimistic that I'll start posting it on Friday, just in time for the official release for the next episode of Season Seven, "Daring Done?".

The bad news is that the month is over and I haven't gotten nearly as much work done on "A Daring Day" as I'd like. The good news is that I'm closing in on five thousand words for it, and have the story outlined. I'm gonna need to do a couple tweaks to what I've got though, to make sure it's in line with some established information from the series that I can't just explain away with the 'alternate universe' tag, but in general, things are looking good.

For those of you still on the fence about getting "The Art of My Little Pony: The Movie", let me help persuade you...GET THE BOOK. It's amazing, it's interesting, and there's all sorts of trivia in there for what led to the film in its final form.

Plus, for a writer like me, it's a veritable wealth of information. And I won't say anything else, because spoilers.

Got this on my mind, and felt like it'd be a good time to get it out.

As you all probably know, events from Season Four have changed, in ways both small and large, in the Quiververse. I've got a good idea of a number of them, some of which I'll go into detail with future works. For now, I'm prepared to say this...

"Princess Twilight Sparkle" - We've already seen it.

"Castle Mane-Ia" - We've already seen it.

"Daring Don't" - No changes, but it will factor into a future story.

A long ways back, I had a scene in mind for a Quiververse story where one character angrily referred to another character as a harpy, only to retract the statement - "I don't want to insult the harpies."

Then, years later, word came along for the movie and we got our first look at Captain Celaeno and her crew. Yes, they're anthropomorphic parrots, but given the connotations connected to the name 'Celaeno' in Greek myth...yeah, by my reckoning, they're harpies.

I'm pleased to report that "A Daring Day" is currently at about three thousand words. I'm also pleased to report where it falls in the overall timeline.

The actual start of the story is right before the events of "Filli Vanilli", with the main part of it taking place during the events of that episode (specifically that montage of Pony Tones performances). I imagine those took place over a period of several days, at least one per performance, so that gives me a little wiggle room.

I'm pleased to report that I've started work upon "A Daring Day".

I'm also pleased to report that I'll be making a nod to a popular fan series, as is my wont, and doing something with Scootaloo that's been long overdue with the series itself. These aren't plot critical, mind, but they felt like organic places to work them into the overall story.

Another Equestria Girls short leaked this week - I imagine it'll be officially released later this week, if not before the end of this month. However, it gave us one nice bit of information...

...the human world's version of Countess Coloratura is confirmed.

I'm just gonna say this isn't changing my plans one bit, and leave it at that.
