I have two computers from Dell - a regular PC that I bought a few years ago to replace my college computer (and have used without incident), and a laptop that I bought for Internet browsing when on the road. The latter, sadly, has been giving me trouble for the last couple months - ever since I was forced to do a system restore, I've been unable to download automatic updates. I finally called Dell Technical Support about it yesterday, and they've been doing their best to fix the issue.

If the showrunners wanted to introduce us to Scootaloo's dad, he could have a name that somehow involved the words "Wasp" or "Stinger". Heck, I'm tempted to give him the name "Yellowjacket" right now because it sounds kinda badass.

Think about it - Scootaloo gets around on a scooter. One of the more famous brands of motorized scooters is the Vespa, which is Italian for 'wasp'. Heck, a genus of social insects that includes a number of wasps and hornets is called 'Vespula'.

I don't have anything to post for it, so here's some news instead. The story that's filling the slot for 'Canterlot Comic-Con'? It's focused on Sunset Shimmer.

In a few places, I've brought up a possible story for the Quiververse entitled "Canterlot Comic-Con". It's a story that I still hope to do one day, but I doubt it'll be part of Season One. Hopefully Season Two, however, because it feels like too good of an idea to pass up.

I do have a cute idea to replace it, however. It'll involve a little more timeline juggling, but hey, alternate universe. I can get away with that kind of thing.

Next chapter for "A Daring Day" is up tomorrow. Final two chapters are on their way a week from tomorrow.

I just finished the last bit for "A Daring Day". It's written and finished and I'll have it all posted by Friday of next week.

Feels good to have another story done. Now, onto the next one!

I'm pleased to say that the story itself is well on its way to being finished. I've got what will be the third chapter written and ready to go, and am most of the way through the fourth (of what will probably be five chapters). It'll definitely be done before the end of this month. Right now, though, I feel like elaborating a little bit on how this story came to be.

Well, I've been thoroughly spoiled for the events of the upcoming film, thanks to both the art book and the Adventure Journal. I won't spoil anyone, but between the two, I now have firmer plans for how to integrate the events of the film into my storyline. I'll probably include stuff that could have been part of the film too, plus throw in some of my own stuff, mostly because I can.
