I just got hired to work as a cashier at a local grocery store: I'll be starting working there in a couple of days, hopefully. There's no telling what that will do to my schedule at this point, but I will continue to write. I have several more ideas on hand, some ready to go now, some needing a bit of fleshing out first.

Just to let y'all know, the next chapter of Secret of the Mare Lisa is going to be a pretty long one, so it might be a while before it comes out. It's divided into 9 parts, and I'm trying to write one part a day (already finished three), but with that on top of looking for a summer job and helping around the house, it may come out later than I hope.

So, yesterday, I saw the new episode Make New Friends But Keep Discord, and I thought it was an okay episode. It was pretty funny overall--I was chuckling throughout the entire thing, and actually laughed when Maud burned Discord. It also got Fluttershy's character right--I was very pleased when she called Discord out on his being a jerk.

Hey, everypony. So, I had my interview with the security guard company that I mentioned, and...well, it had it's pros and cons.

The interview itself went well, and they were genuinely interested in talking to me. Unfortunately, the only position they had at the time was an on-call position, and that came with no guarantees--they probably would not even have had time to train me properly before I had to go back to college, and that wouldn't have been fair to anyone.

I have an interview with a security company on Tuesday that I'm looking forward to; other than that, it's mostly just working on The Master's Hoard, which I hope you all are enjoying, planning future stories, helping out around the house, and goofing off in between.

So I just watched the first two episodes of Season 5, and I have to say, I am extremely impressed. Hasbro has not slacked off on production values in any aspect. The story was good, the characters were all still great, and the animation was fantastic. And it left a pretty good loose end: I have a feeling that this is not the last we have seen of Starlight Glimmer (say, that gives me an idea...)
