It was a beautiful morning, bright and clear without a cloud in the sky.
Okay, there was one cloud. It was kind of small and low in the sky.
I thought, "There's got to be a pegasus hiding in there."
Somewhere in the USA. Probably older than you. And something about MLP:FIM makes me want to write stories. Unfortunately, being gainfully employed cuts into my writing time.
In the world building in Cross Words, I described how a small number of alicorns were born throughout history, with Cadance being the seventeenth. All alicorns are sustained by the love and respect of their little ponies, and so any of them could have chosen immortality, in a similar form to that enjoyed by Celestia and Luna. But all chose eventually to live a mortal life.
"I would like to see a story following his son."
"I agree. You should make a sequel about his son."
And I immediately started thinking about it. The general idea came fairly quickly. And now you can watch as Blue Seas learns about his heritage. What happens when he meets his birth father?
For that, you'll have to wait. But for now, you can read Heritage.
(This story should stay at an Everyone rating.)
The Cutie Mark Crusaders create an energy drink, Applestar!
It's not specifically a followup to Zipporwhill's Secret, so I didn't call it a sequel, but it draws upon the events in that story. If you liked Zipporwhill's Secret, Applestar includes more Zipporwhill, more Crusaders, and more caffeine!
My next story is now visible on the main site. Thanks to everypony who favorited it beforehoof!
The first chapter was changed a bit, swapping the first two scenes, following a suggestion I received from Georg.
Again, suggestions about what episodes you want to see mentioned are welcome. And for those who originally responded, there will definitely be parasprites!
A story idea I've had for a long time involved a police detective who just wants a quiet retirement. So he moves to Ponyville. Unfortunately for him, he moves there three days after Twilight Sparkle.
The story idea is old enough that a few details from it found their way into my other stories.
Here is Retirement Blues.
Following the events of the swap meet, ponies (especially Rainbow Dash) should realize there has to be a better way to make exchanges.
Thus, I have a brilliant idea!
The ponies of Equestria should create a system of tokens with agreed-upon values. That way, you don't have to make a long series of exchanges to get what you want from somepony who doesn't want what you have.
These tokens should be durable so that they can be reused, so let's make them out of metal.
There was a joke I planned to include in Chapter 8 of A Royal Pain, but I forgot. Here's the changed passage:
Golden Grain stuck his muzzle into a small tub of earth, and came out with a worm in his lips. He stuck it on the hook of his fishing pole.
“I’m glad I didn’t just eat,” Blueblood said, disgusted.
Golden Grain laughed. “When you’re a colt growing up and playing on a farm, you get a lot worse in your mouth. Trust me.”
