One Super Bowl ad · 8:02am Feb 2nd, 2015
Anyone notice this scene from the Super Bowl Rally ad?
Of course, it makes sense which team the Mane 6 would support.
Somewhere in the USA. Probably older than you. And something about MLP:FIM makes me want to write stories. Unfortunately, being gainfully employed cuts into my writing time.

As I mentioned in the author's notes of the most recent chapter of Heritage, next chapter will involve Blue Seas traveling to the seapony kingdom. There will be plenty for Blue Seas to experience in this sometimes familiar, sometimes alien city.
Is there anything you'd like to see happen? Seapony strangeness to experience? For example, one thing Blue Seas will need to learn right away: how do seapony bathrooms work?
To avoid the bother of seeing people talk about elections all night, I instead wrote a short one-shot about Election Day in Equestria. Starring Discord!

I didn't write anything specific for Nightmare Night (unlike last year, with teenagers at an old summer camp). But I did finish the next chapter of Heritage. I'll do a final edit and post it on Monday.
Meanwhile, it's back to Retirement Blues, with the first of three fall-themed chapters.
I sketched out ideas for Retirement Blues, coming up with plans for eight additional chapters, including thinking up a thematically appropriate name for the final chapter. A number of the Season 2 episodes will either be mentioned or run concurrently with these chapters. It's possible chapters might be split if they get too long, and there's always the chance for reader comments to drive an additional chapter.
One example of such a dream involved watching a new episode of MLP:FIM, and being worried about the impact the episode would have on one of the stories I'm writing, Retirement Blues, and its main character.
Of course, like most dreams, there are several flaws that become obvious once awake. In this case, not only is there no new episode coming out, but there's no conceivable way a new episode could impact an original character in a story that's currently set during Season One.
There were so many things I wanted to happen in the third chapter of Heritage, it took nine thousand words to write them. But I'm finally done.
And after reading this chapter, I'm sure you won't mind me writing another chapter of Retirement Blues, right?
