It took almost a week, but I finally got the most tedious part of Chapter 3 finished. I'd estimate it'll turn out to be roughly a third of the finished chapter. In any case, the unfinished parts of the chapter are mostly character interaction, and I love writing that.

So, I've started work on Chapter 3, and by that I mean that I just started --- I don't even have enough written to make it worthwhile to show it to my prereaders. I have, however, figured out something important, it's that I won't be able to cut corners on the description this time, since I'll be describing the inside of Twilight's mind.

Yup, it's done. I'm just going to give my prereaders a few hours to look it over, and then I'll post it.

Okay, I think I'm far enough along on the chapter to give an estimate about when it'll be complete. As usual, it depends on how my free time ends up getting used, but I think there's a good chance for Chapter 2 to be up by the end of the week.

Hey there, followers. I wanted to let you know that I've finished working out the structure of Chapter 2, so unless my prereaders find a glaring problem of some sort, I should start fleshing out the details (or "writing," as most people call it) very soon. It's still a little early to give an estimate for when it'll be done, but I thought I should let you know that progress is being made.

Well, now that the initial flurry of excitement over Inscape is winding down, I can start work on chapter 2 without the distraction of having dozens of user notifications show up every day, which I monitor pathologically, because I'm hopelessly addicted to the attention (don't feel sorry---my writing pace would be a lot slower otherwise).

...all the attention Inscape is getting is taking some of the sting out of Mike Nelson's cheap shot, at least for me.

Is it strange that the fact that "What Went Wrong" got 500 views without showing up on EQD has me more happy and excited than "Petriculture" getting 10,000 views with it?

That's when "Inscape" (the sequel to "Petriculture") is going up onto the site now that it's in the queue, unless I made a mistake in my math, which is quite possible. Still, it should be fairly close to that time, so now you no longer need to stare at your computer screen, hitting the refresh button every ten minutes! (Also, if you were actually doing that, for the love of all that's good, please get some help.)
