After spending a few days brainstorming (with the generous assistance of DPV111), I think I've got a good idea of where the overall plot is going. I have, accordingly, started work on Chapter 4, and hope to have it posted at some point during the Easter weekend. This will probably be the last chapter that I use to establish what Our Heroines' "normal" routine is before I start mixing things up a bit.

After several false starts, I'm nearly done with the third chapter of "Wild, Sweet & Cool." I've done my best to make it entertaining, but I've still got some trepidation about it, mostly because its primary narrative purpose is to establish facts and ideas to use later on, and that's always somewhat difficult to pull off without feeling gratuitous. In any case, you should be seeing a new chunk of story soon.

On an unrelated note, you might be wondering where I got the title from. The answer is that it's a song from The Crystal Method's 2001 album, Tweekend. Ever since I discovered MLP, this song makes me think of Rainbow Dash doing her thing.

Apparently I'm not the only person who thinks the song should be associated with midair awesomeness, as this otherwise uninteresting skydiving video demonstrates.

I've started work on my next story. Depending on what happens IRL, it might be up by the end of the week.

And to answer the obvious question, no, it isn't a sequel/prequel to "Petriculture." I'm not going to follow up on that story unless I'm certain it will be as good as the original.

"Petriculture" seems to be generating a favorable response. I suppose this means I can call my first foray into the brony community a tentative success.

Believe it or not, this was originally going to be a story about the Cutie Mark Crusaders attempting to try their hooves at rock farming. It would have featured gripping dialogue, such as the following:
