Ever had a mind numbingly stupid idea that just wouldn't go away? I did. Ever write a story for it? I did.

Ever feel a deep sense of shame and regret over it? I do.

This has to be one of the worst ideas ever. Certainly not original. And the way I disposed of the humans, not even saying a word about what happened to them. Awful. Every aspect of this story is awful and I can offer no excuses.

Sign language for ponies. Something that has been rattling around my head for a while. It was a very difficult concept to try and make work, realistically, as ponies do not have hands.

Minotaurs and griffons do. Well, griffons sort of do. I had to come up with a way for ponies to communicate without hands, and, after much thinking, I thought the ears might work. I watched a lot of videos about horse ears.

A bit of a time traveler piece. It started off as a vague idea that just wouldn't go away. I went through several versions of the story, with the protagonist getting turned to stone. One version was accidental, the other version was intentional, hoping that he would be found in the future.

The intentional version didn't seem to pass muster in my mind for many reasons, and I chose the accidental version.

As planned, Ivy's story will continue.

I have two names for the future story. "Select Students" being one and "The Alicorn Academy" being the other. I'm hesitant about both.

I don't feel that Select Students is a strong enough name. The Alicorn Academy... Meh. I dunno. I'm worried that people will get the wrong idea. That worries me. I have NO plans to introduce more alicorns into this universe. There's enough as it is.

In a story about Hailstone / Frigoris and Nightfisher / Imbrium, Luna's lunar Mares?

There are a few ideas tumbling around. Frigoris would probably love to have a good romp in a more adult themed story. Her radish is perpetually lonely, and there is a reason why.

And at some point, I need to introduce Mare Nectaris, another special needs lunar pegasi / bat pony.
