Well, this is my first fanfic in (quite literally) a dozen years. Since the old days, I've moved into webcomics, novels and the like. Strangely enough, it took (as a fan animation once said) "technicolor donkeys" to get me back into this.

Since FIM is largely a low fantasy world, I thought I'd have fun with it. Yes, you can consider this to be an alternate universe, or well after the end of the series.
