A lot of you apparently enjoyed What's Yours is Yours, But Twilight's Mine. I didn't expect this at all, but I still see people adding it to their favorites. I've been considering rewriting this story with better pacing. Would any of you be interested in this? Let me know in the comments below!

Are any of my followers interested in a Spike x Ember story, or a story involving Ember in general? I have an idea for one, but since it's not my top priority, I'd like your opinions.

As you all know, A Competition in Mortality will be ending soon. Even though the ending has already been written, I'm not sure I really like it very much. So now I pose a question: Would you prefer the story end here, continue as a sequel, or continue within the main story?

I know I left you all on a pretty big cliffhanger, but life sucks sometimes. Even after stubbornly ignoring the fact, it seems I've become sick. I hope you can be patient with me a bit here while I recover. I'll have the next chapter up as soon as I can but until then, thank you for understanding.

The problem with writing a fanfic with two ships that you support competing with each other is that it can be very hard to decide which ship actually gets to win. So instead of stalking the groups everypony has joined, I thought it would be nice for the fans of this story to calmly and kindly explain why they prefer one or the other. The ending will remain a surprise, but this way, it's easier for me to know what everypony wants plot line wise.
