Revisiting A Writing Experiment Which I Did Last Year (Gauging Interest) · 5:41am Jul 5th, 2014

Hiya everybody,

I hope you guys enjoyed that last chapter of AHoC. I love cliffhangers. Whether reading them or writing them, they always bring a smile to my face. Anyway, let's get to the topic at hand.

Running · 4:44am Jun 15th, 2014

I know this has absolutely nothing to do with writing, but maybe I can find a way to tie it into writing. I'm running in a half marathon tomorrow, as I tend to do once per year. It's a pretty fun thing to do, even if I only went on two runs since the snow melted... In any case, even though it looks like it might be pouring rain on me, I'm sure I'll have a good time.

Interested in TSC? (Signal Boost) · 6:13pm Jun 8th, 2014

Are any of you avid readers of Wanderer D's The Sweetie Chronicles? Well, if you are, he's holding a livestream thingy where he's going to answer questions and talk about the story alongside Rusty (the author of Backwards Through the Mirror) Or perhaps you are just interested in a different author's approach to writing, or you might be interested in how collaborations work. Who knows, you might find it piques your interest. I know I'll find the livestream interesting in any case.

A Follow Up Video · 1:32am Jun 4th, 2014

Hey everyone, I'm back from my camping trip. I guess it's time to work on some more writing. Anyway, while I was gone, this video by Dr.Wolf and Firebrand came out. If you recall my earlier blog post: On Writing Fanfics and Quality Control, Dr.Wolf and Firebrand felt it necessary to explore the topic further and asked to use my blog as a point of furthering that discussion. Feel free to give it a watch. I was

Gone Camping · 2:20pm May 29th, 2014

I'll be gone for the next five days. No computer or anything. I'd like to say that I'll still be writing during that time, and I will be, but it's writing for the sake of planning out a new D&D quest with my buddies rather than fanfiction. Maybe when I get back I'll try and double my writing rate for a week. We'll see. In any case, it should be fun to be in the great outdoors once again... even if it is tick season. See you all in five days.

SilentBelle's Writing About Writing: Filling the Blank Page

I'd like to see a brief bit on how you turn ideas in your head to words on the page. I've been trying to figure that part out myself, but no real luck. The more examples I see, the more likely I feel I'll succeed in getting something down that people can throw rotten fruit at.

Chapter 20 is out. And a Quick Question. · 8:37pm May 4th, 2014

So, chapter 20 of AHoC is finally out. I want to thank everyone who decided to help proofread for me. And a special thanks to Mac349 for devoting so much time to pointing out my numerous errors and being so articulate about each one. It has been a while since I've felt so profoundly stripped of my confidence as an author (the last time I felt like this was when I first started writing). This is a good thing though, as it means I am finally able to see with much more clarity, just how much I

On Writing Fics and Quality Control · 7:40am Apr 23rd, 2014

So I've done a fair amount of thinking, as well as discussing with a fair number of my buddies on a certain topic that I find very intriguing and relevant to me as a writer in this fandom. A few days ago I watched a video that discussed quality control in the fandom. It's basically an opinion piece on fan-works within our fandom. And for my part, I'm just going to be applying it strictly to fanfiction, primarily because that's what I am concerned with. But first here's the video:
