So. I achieved half a Nano -- 25K words on my original novel -- while also sneaking in another 15K on things like The Rise of Chaos and some ficlets. What I learned is that it's really hard for me to stick to writing just one thing in a month.

So this month I'm going to write what I want, but my aim is mostly to write things I can post online, which means catching up on some MLP fanfics!

Well, Inktober went pretty well. I got 23 out of the 31 ficlets done, and I plan to finish them at the slower rate of 1 a week under Nightmare Before Christmas rules, whereby you can extend any October activity until Christmas. :-)

I also wrote two MLP stories for the Writeoff, both of which need revision and expansion, and then I'll post them here. Plus, a ficlet about a goose, and a first chapter of an MLP crossover also about a goose, because goddamn do I love that goose.

My only story on this site that has no Discord tag (so far... I'm not promising he'll never turn up, but the main character is already an entity of chaos.)

I want to see a picture of Discord holding and petting the goose, saying "Who's a chaotic goose? You are! You're the best chaos goose!"

Hey, technically, you can write with ink too, and if digital art counts as ink enough for Inktober, so should writing.

I'm focusing on original ficlets for the most part, but if the prompt really demands to be a fanfic, I'll do it that way.
