A tragedy strikes Ponyville and shatters the hearts of the ponies. Rainbow Dash meets an unfortunate end, and believes that her life meant nothing, but she will soon realize that her life meant more than she could ever imagine.

Rainbow Dash never knew her parents, she wishes she did, she wishes for someone to care for her and love her like her parents did. Sure, she had her other 5 pony friends, but none of them could provide the love a parent could.

With the help of Dr. Whooves, Rainbow Dash goes back in time to find out the truth of what happened to her mother and father, but will she be able to accept it?
