Bad stuff: I've been in kind of a slump since getting back; between not getting through and cops getting shot in my town and half my state flooding it hasn't been the most positive atmosphere. Also, school's up again, so time will be a little scarce.

Well, tonight I finally get to put up what adds up to about five or six months of work. I think it shows too, between how much of it there is and how much progress is made in terms of the story. It's got a little of everything; action, character development, the obligatory Top Gun reference. At any rate, I've been looking forward to publishing this pack for a while.

Just getting back from some month-long training, and sadly I didn't complete it. I didn't quit or fail one specific thing, but I was barely lacking in a few certain qualities needed to finish. I don't think I'm allowed to talk much on it yet, unfortunately.

I'm going to be gone most of June. Don't fret, there's nothing wrong and I'm not sick of this place or anything. There's just some work I need to take care of, which kind of connects to how busy I've been all year really. Though I'd prefer anyone I've told already to keep it to themselves, I don't want to talk on it much.

Sorry again for leaving you guys hanging, but as I've said before life has been busy, particularly since Fall and through the Winter. Still, I've gotten some writing done, and plan to get even more down over the upcoming break. Next chapter's first draft is almost done, still needs some polish and pre-reading. However, the next 'arc' that I publish will be of the next two chapters, so I'm afraid it may be a bit longer before something gets posted. Still, it is progressing.

Apologies for taking so long, but as promised the next 3 new chapters of the story have been published, along with the re-write of 'Fear's Power'. Most of the re-write is somewhat mild, giving more detail and focus to certain points. Though the overall conclusion is the same.

I'll keep this short and simple, as things are rather busy for me; that being the main point really. Summer's been busier than I hoped with a class, job, and various other things; my personal problem adding an extra layer of distraught on top of it at the start. In addition, I've been trying to write out a new story; something a little different I haven't seen around the site. Regardless of that, I'm still working on Nearing the Edge, and I'll get to that now.
