Now, i get that ponies are herbivores an' all, so they wouldn't dare to eat meat.

But I am certain I saw a bologna sandwich in "A Bird in a Hoof" in front of Applejack when she wasn't sure what she should eat first. So it raises the question for me, could these ponies eat meat if they wanted to?
