Evocator

Hello there, friends. My main job here is to peruse the stories on this site, and read them. I can work as an Editor in my spare time though. I have high hopes for my new story, as well. Best of luck.

Despite only a few years passing since the "Lord Of Change's" defeat, the kingdom is already fast on the way to recovery. More lands are becoming fertile, The Harvests are becoming more fruitful, and more and more craftsponies are appearing. It truly is a great time in the history of this Diarchy. It is during this time that the kingdom's borders are finalizing, and the focus of the administration ever grows to it's core.
So what does an Earl of the northern provinces have to do with this? Is it the fact that his lands are some of the oldest and greatest in the realm? Is it the abundance of ores and gems in his mines? Or is perhaps the border with the Northern Wastes?
No matter the reason, this Earl plays a major role in this chapter in the Great Kingdom's history.
Shall we begin?

Story will contain the following: Copious amounts of backstory, most definitely some gore, Bad writing, and a very large amount of OC cast. In fact, the only 'main characters' you should expect to see in this story should be the princesses.

It's been a long time since I wrote a story that I got into. Hopefully, I'll stay into this.
Please, provide any advice and criticism in the comments. I love hearing your opinions.
Updates will come whenever possible, which should hopefully be frequent. Tags and Characters will be added as they make their way into the story to prevent spoilers.
Further appearances of Warhammer lore and Characters being mentioned will happen. The picture is here to give a vague idea of my OC's armor and his masters, but are not final.
Specific artwork would be much appreciated.

It's been almost a week since Nightmare Moon's return. The changelings of Equestria feared for their lives for quite some time, however they returned to work soon after. One noble from the Hive will venture forth to explore and experience everything he can. Guarded by his trusted friend, he knows this can only end well. The problem is, who will it end well for?
(Additional characters will be added as they appear, Thanks to Thadius0 for giving me permission to use some aspects of his Changeling's culture. Please, check out his amazing story "Shifting Melodies"
It's a great read, and deserves to be seen.
Updates whenever I can.

Platinum Cross was one of the greatest physicians known to pony-kind during his time. He was the stallion to go to for any bodily ailment. He could cure the sickened, mend shattered bones, and even save a life from the brink of death. He was revered as one of the greatest healers in Equestrian history, and one of the founders of modern medicine. All of this was overshadowed by his discovery of what may have been the greatest spell ever inscribed upon a rune.
A spell to bring the dead back to the realm of the living. One would think that such a spell would be a boon for ponies everywhere, able to see and speak with their lost loved ones. But that was not the case, for the ponies of his time were wary, and superstitious. They saw him become nothing more than a monster, a practitioner of the dark arts, if you will. He was forced into banishment, and neither coat nor tail was ever seen from him again.
However, when a pony bearing a suspiciously similar look to his is rumored to be living in the Everfree, a certain group of fillies become very intrigued. Things can only get better from then on, right?
(Any and all criticism and suggestions welcome.)
