Battle for Equestria

Chapter 1

1000 years have passed since the mysterious dissappearence of the 6 legendary element weilders and the Elements of Harmony and the tragic murders of Celestia, Luna and Cadence, Equestria had been under the rule of a mysterious black alicorn for over 100 years. No pony could forget the bloody battle that took Equestria in one foul swipe. Canterlot was turned into a ruin and made the fort of the mysterious black alicorn.

In ponyville a pony named Mossshadow Dash lived a normal life. Mossshadow Dash is about 20 years old and is 3'3" high. He has dark green eyes and he has green and black mane and tail. He is a dark blue pegasus. He special talents are making potions and blacksmithing. His cutie mark is a sword, marking the blacksmithing, and a bottle over the top, marking the alchemy. He lives near to the library. He usually wears a black cloak.

When Mossshadow was but a filly he was told by his grandpony that his ancestor was one of the 6 legendary element weilders. This excited him and he spent his life trying to be like his ancestor. No pony knew the names of the legendary element weilders because when they mysteriously dissappear so did their names and genders. Everything they did just became a myth or legend. But the things they did were not forgotten. But Mossshadow's grand pony died when he was about 15. Loving his grandpony very much he was really upset and the dream of becoming like his ancestor seemed more and more like a dream for fillies. Now he spends his life working at a local pub serving beer and other refreshments.

One day when Mosshadow Dash was in the pub named The Sleeping Pony. He was serving drinks as usual. Then 2 ponies walked in that hes never seen before but he know who they were. They were soldiers of the black alicorn. Everypony was frightened of him and his soldiers. So as they walked in everypony went quiet. Nopony talked or squeaked just sat there quietly, shaking. The 2 soldiers took a seat near the window in the corner.

The one of the soldiers was light grey and had dark red hair. The other had a much darker grey and black hair. They were both wearing simple armor, A golden chestplate and slippers. Nopony could tell what their eyes looked like

"Hey kid" the bar owner wispered.
"Yeah?" Mossshadow replied whispering
"Serve them"
"Me?!?"
"yes you, now go."
Everypony went into a whispering state as Mossshadow walked over there. They were looking at him like he was going to die or something. Mossshadow was just as scared as they were. But costumers were costumers aand they needed to be servered just like everypony else.
"W-What would like t-to drink" Stuttered Mossshadow
"two beers thanks" One of the said "And make it snappy"
"v-very well" replied Mossshadow
"And please stop stuttering" the other ordered
"yes sir"
Mossshadow silently walked back to the bar with everypony looking at him with relieved faces that he wasn't dead yet.
"Here you go" Said the Bar owner as he handed the 2 beers to him.
The bar owner wasn't psychic or anything he just heard every word the soldiers said because well everypony was really quiet. Mossshadow Dash looked at the 2 beers. They were the really good quality beers. The ones we charge extra for. Mossshadow over with the two beers over to them and put the on the tablein front of them.
"H-here you go m-my g-good sirs" Mossshadow stuttered as put them on the table
"what did i tell you about the stuttering"
"t-to not to s-sir" replied Mossshadow
The soldier grabbed Mossshadow by the throat and pulled his dagger.
"I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU NOT TO STUTTER!" Yelled the soldier holding him
Mossshadow's was pumping so fast with fear.
'I'm going to die'
"HEY" yelled a voice
Everypony looked at the bar owner who had his crossbow pointed at the soldier.
"Put him down" commmanded the bar owner
"with pleasure" said the soldier and with that threw Mossshadow Dash across the room like he was nothing
"c'mon lets go" added the soldier in an angry tone.
Everypony looked at them leave. When they were no longer in sight everypony turned to look at Mossshadow who was still trying to get up. The bar owner walked over to Mossshadow and helped him up
"you alright kid?"
"Yea" replied Mossshadow Dash with a little trinkle of blood coming out of his mouth.
"Go home and patch yourself up"
"o-ok" stuttered Mossshadow struck with fear.

Hi there thanks for reading my story. Not much for the first chapter. Hope you enjoy. One more note: The Sleeping Pony is my version of The Sleeping Giant from Skyrim. So don't waste your time writing a comment saying "The Sleeping Pony sounds like The Sleeping Giant from skyrim" or anything else like that. If you have a better name than the title or anything else (except ponies) please let me know. And for anypony who doesn't know 3' is 3 foot and 3" is 3 inches. If anypony needs me to explain anything else just let me know. And if you don't like the story and you have a suggestion to make it better please again let me know.
