To be fair, if anybody asked me to tell them how to find a discriminant, I'd spontaneously combust, despitehaving no problems with it when I was in school, so I can feel for Anon.
That's ehat two years of no-math does to your brain kids.
Possible, but without some major steps taken I don't see anyone as a friend to Anon. Really, unless she up and kicks Daybreaker in the teeth for being blatantly Evil (like Luna should have done the second Daybreaker tried to enslave him) then its flat-out impossible.
I really do wonder where this story is going, though. Anon has no will to do anything, and nobody else has any moral fiber to do anything about him being abused. So... what even does the author intend to evoke in the reader? Because it just seems like at this point out the only way he can be free is death.
There just doesn't seem to be much of a will inside Anon for him to do anything, and everyone is far, far more tolerant than they should be of what is effectively an alternate version of Nightmare Moon. He hasn't even been mistreated and his mind is consumed by "what ifs" of what Daybreaker *could* do. Nobody has voiced even the slightest hint of displeasure (not even Luna) at Daybreaker replacing Celestia, which is a whopping double-standard compared to what ponies thought of Nightmare Moon. Not to mention that Anon, and yes I know this is Anon the Misanthrope, is *especially* good at pushing people away, which is something that cannot continue if he harbors secret intentions to "interfere" with Daybreaker.
11240709 Nope. Slow development times with chapters are the reasons for the slow going nature. Since its spring and going to be summer soon, my work picks up pace alot.
My editor is also quite busy at the moment. Chapter developments are still being written though.
