Mario Party at the Library

Starting it Up

''Come on, Twilight! Get the game started!'' said an anxious and bored Rainbow Dash. ''Just hold on, it'll be ready right away. Oh! Here's the trouble. The color cords aren't plugged in''. Rainbow Dash and Twilight, along with Pinkie Pie and Applejack were getting ready to play (a ponified version of) Mario Party 5 after buying it and a brand new Neightendo PonyCube at PonyMart, a huge store in Canterlot. ''Oh my gosh, this is gonna be so much fun! I love parties! And balloons! Do you think there will be balloons in this game?'' said a very excited Pinkie Pie. ''Don't y'all think we should read the rules first?'' stated Applejack, to which Rainbow replied ''Rules, schmules. It can't be THAT hard to figure out! It's just a video game''. The screen popped up with the words 'MARIO PARTY 5' on it and below was 'PRESS START'. ''Finally! It took a while, but now it works! Happy, Rainbow Dash?'' said Twilight. ''Of course! I mean, it only took, what, 45 minutes?'' Rainbow said sarcastically, ''but why can we only play Party Mode? We should at least get another option!''. Twilight then selected Party Mode where they got sent to a character select screen. Imagine the humans in Mario Party 5 as ponies and all animals stay the same. The selections were:

Twilight picked Princess Peach because she looked classy

Rainbow Dash picked Waluigi strictly because, at first glance, she was laughing so hard she was laying down, crying and because he has a funny name

Pinkie picked Wario because of the same reason as RD

Applejack picked Mario because he ''looks like a respectful feller''

Then came the time to pick the board. Of course, Rainbow Dash wanted Rainbow Dream, Pinkie wanted Sweet Dream and Toy Dream, and Applejack and Twilight wanted Pirate Dream. Ultimately, Rainbow and Pinkie agreed to Pirate Dream so Twilight selected it. Peach, Waluigi, Wario, and Mario flew into the picture of it with Pinkie screaming ''WEEEEEEE!!!'' and RD still trying to hold back laughter from the appearance of Wario and Waluigi. Suddenly, they were in Pirate Dream with the board being shown. The screen cut to their characters and Eldstar. ''Who's the geezer?'' asked Rainbow Dash. ''Rainbow! Y'all should respect yer elders!'' replied Applejack. ''Fine, who's the star geezer?'' she said as Applejack just shook her head. ''Apparently his name is Eldstar and he's our guide for the game'' said Twilight, reading the text as Pinkie was shaking in her seat, obviously a little overexcited. ''Yeah, yeah, just cut to the chase and let us play already!'' Rainbow Dash said, impatiently. Okay, Rainbow. I'll type up when you guys start. ''Thank you, whoever you are!''. I'm the author. Whatever I write, you all do! ''Okay, so let us start!''. Ehh, next time. ''OH COME O-''

Hey guys, just want to say thanks for reading this. It's my first fanfic and it will be terrible. I can feel it. The only consolation I have is that I'm 14 so I don't have advanced writing skills. I'll see you guys on the next chapter of Mario Party at the Library!
