Why did you label this chapter 7 when it should be 6 are you counting the personal file as a chapter anyway love this chapter I can’t wait for your next chapter
"I can not tell you brother. If I did, it would change the future and for the outcome I have foreseen, everything must come to pass, both the good and bad" she said trailing off. I immediately felt a shiver go down my spine.
I take issue with this, I am sorry to say that’s not how it works. Seeing the future changes the outcome regardless of if you you speak of or act on it. This is because just the act of seeing future events changes how everything plays out because you know it will play out, thus the future is changed because you changed it by seeing it.
You can also speed up the timing of events by seeing them before they happen as a consequence.
It’s the same with time travel, the act of going back itself changes the future because you never existed in the past to begin with. So changing anything in the past has no effect on the future because the future you came from no longer exists.
10859189 Perhaps, but you fail to consider that Celestia could be considered and has been compared to a god. She has seen and knows what must play out for that future to happen and therefore does what she must for it to unfold.
That would be true, IF it was a world ending future. Ragnarök Is an example of an unchangeable future, no matter what Odin does he will die to Fenrir and bring about the end of the world.
You must understand that the future is changed by small actions, Seers see the hidden truth that is the near and far future, oracles tell of Possible Truth that are possible futures based on current events and Prophets tell of Ordained truth in Prophecy.
From the way it was worded is that she is a Seer, meaning that any future she sees is changed by the act of seeing it.
10859229 I understand that point and yet as I said she is basically a god. She knows to mess with events will impact a future she has seen and will take the necessary steps to make sure it plays out, but then again it could be the one future that is the best possible outcome that she has seen and will do everything to make sure it's possible. It can be said that the future is in constant flux and the smallest thing could change it, so Celestia is as I said possibly playing the long game for the best possible outcome.
But taking acts to ensure it will change the future she saw to. Sadly it’s just the way it works as any attempt to ensure or change will result in changes regardless of what she wants.
Also being a Goddess doesn’t change anything, even the Devine’s are bound by Rules.
Also, it would honestly be more interesting story wise if her actions change the outcome!
The fact that the princesses want to retire was probably the worst thing FIM could have possibly done in general IMO. It just seems lazy and ooc of the princesses, not to mention selfish.
10859189 That's one thing I take issue with with time travel (despite how awesome the Back to the Future trilogy is). In the second movie, traveling to the future SHOULD have changed everything since Marty ceased to exist for the next 30 years.
Awwww, i like this sweet story so far and i look forwards to more

If you look at the chapter list you'll see the author accidentally skipped Chapter 5.
10855543
It weird because chapter 6 continues after chapter 4
10855564
I don't know how that happened?

Wasent me but probably someone who gets butt hurt easily.

It's possible they do. I don't follow conventional theories or standards. Where's the fun in that?

Good story but need a beta cause you REALLY keep using 'was' instead of the correct 'were'.
