Discord stared, wistfully into the distance as the sunset cast a brilliant, fiery pattern on the sky before him. There was a thin layer of water covering the ground beneath his feet as he reflected on the events of The Longest Day.

Captain Celaeno, the former pirate-parrot, spotted him and she was unloading some loot from her skyboat and flew down towards him. She had known he was planning something big, something important, and he didn't exactly look happy.

"Did you do it?"

Discord looked up at her. "Yes."

"What did it cost?"

Discord paused for a moment before replying. "Everything."

Celaeno nodded in understanding, as Excelsior Doodle, the second-cousin of Cranky Doodle, had wandered towards them after eavesdropping. He was a wizened, aged gray donkey with thick black glasses, a gray moustache, and a cantankerous voice.

"You kids are going to get yourself sued, you know that?"
