Rainbow Dash vs. Reverse Flash

Author's Note:

Because the Arrow/Flash/Legends/Supergirl episode gives NO explanation as to how he survived being erased as a time remnant other than "traveling through time is confusing", he's just back because the show can't get enough of him, and they're not likely to expand on it coz he's not the main villain of any of the current seasons, he'll just likely be the rare recurring villain like the Trickster.

Also, despite all the references they do to other shows, I very much doubt they have MLP in the Arrowverse because Cisco never ONCE mentioned it, despite the opportunity to mention Rainbow Dash due to the whole speed element.

Eobard Thawne, also known as Reverse Flash, stared at the monstrosity that appeared before him.

It was Black Flash, the speedster formerly known as Zoom, turned into an undead creature similar to a Time Wraith, hunting him because he was a time aberration. When his ancestor, Eddie, had shot himself, Eobard had been erased from existence, but the Speed Force kept his past time travels intact by turning his past self into a time remnant up until the point of Eddie's death, thus preserving the timeline and preventing any paradoxes.

When he was pulled from the timeline by Barry, though his then-future actions remained intact, Eobard was able to exist beyond the point when he was erased, sparing him from his nonexistence. Hence, his being a time aberration. He had tried to use the Spear of Destiny to make his existence natural again so Black Flash would no longer hunt him, but he had failed.

Eobard tried to run, but Black Flash was faster, phasing his hand into his heart, ironically one of his own favorite ways of killing his victims. With a scream of defeat, Eobard disintegrated into orange particles.

He found himself in an ancient castle. He rubbed his head. Was he in hell? Would he even go to hell in a state of nonexistence?

Then he noticed his hand felt weird on his head. He looked at his hands and gasped.

They were hooves. Two yellow hooves. He stood up and wobbled around, falling on all fours. For some reason he couldn't stand on two legs the way he used to.

He also felt a strange sensation, as though he had three limbs he hadn't had before. The first thing he noticed, likely due to being on all fours like an animal, was that he had a tail. It was the same shade of brown as his hair. He moved it around, finding it hard to get used to.

He then examined himself and realized with a jolt that he had a pair of feathered wings. He flapped them, and they were able to move pretty fast.

He also noticed that the Reverse Flash logo, a black circle with a red lightning bolt, had appeared on his hip.

Somehow, his "death" had transformed him into some sort of a pegasus, like in Greek mythology. He did seem smaller and cuter than horses generally were.

Whatever he was, he hoped Black Flash wouldn't follow him here.

He tried flapping his wings and flying at top speed. He flew fast, but slammed into a pillar.

After a few crashes, he finally flew out the window, flying straight and leaving a red streak of lightning behind him.

Until he crashed in an area that looked like a rocky wasteland.

"Ow, watch it!" said a female voice.

"Excuse me, I can't get used to these..."

He stared. The creature in front of him looked like a horse, but she was dark gray with fangs, a greasy teal mane and tail, insectoid wings, a long jagged horn on her forehead, and... were those holes in her hooves? For some reason he thought of Swiss cheese.

"What the hell are you?"

"I am Chrysalis, former queen of the changelings, and you have interrupted my plans for revenge!" said the creature.

"Revenge?" said Eobard. "On who?"

"Starlight Glimmer," said Chrysalis. "She took my kingdom and my entire army away from me! I will torture her and kill her in the most brutal ways!"

"What kind of metahuman is she?"

"Metahuman? What is a metahuman? She is a unicorn!"

There are unicorns now? Eobard got the feeling he wasn't on Earth 1 anymore.

"Where in the world am I?"

"You're not from around here, are you? This is Equestria!"

"Equestria. So... everyone in this world is some kind of horse?"

"It's mostly those akursid ponies."

So I'm a pony now? A pegasus pony from the looks of things.

"But there are also changelings, and dragons, and griffons, and... wait, why am I explaining all this to you? You're one of them!"

"I wasn't always a pony! I come from a place called Earth 1. Back there I was a human, or a metahuman because I'm a speedster." Normally he wouldn't give so much details, but he was a little weirded out by all this, despite all he'd seen and caused.

"Oh, you come from that human world that Princess Twilight crossed into."

"Twilight Princess? I've never seen her, but... yes, I come from the human world!"

Of course, Chrysalis was thinking of a different world entirely.

"And there, I'm the... second fastest man alive. Soon to be the fastest." And since his plan with the Spear of Destiny failed, he'd probably stay here, hoping this Equestria was out of Black Flash's reach. "So, I guess I'm the fastest pony alive now."

"No, you're not."

"What?"

"There's a pony faster than you. She's also a pegasus. She can fly faster than the speed of sound and create a Sonic Rainboom!"

"I don't know what that is, but... who is this speedster?"

"One of Starlight's friends. Her name is Rainbow Dash. You can't miss her. She's a blue pony with a rainbow mane and tail. Really cocky and arrogant." Rainbow Dash did have a bit of an ego, but Chrysalis was exaggerating. "If you want to be the fastest pony alive, you'll have to defeat her."

"We'll just see which one of us is faster! So, she's basically this world's Flash, right?"

"Who?"

"Never mind. So, if my rival is your enemy's friend, then, we should team up to take them out!"

"I am a little short on minions. Very well. Help me get my revenge, and be my faithful assistant, satisfying your desire to be the fastest pony alive. But if you betray me, I WILL kill you."

"Good luck with that. You're not as fast as me! Besides, I don't think I can even die!"

"You'd be surprised how fast I can fly as a dragon."

"I'm still faster. Either I'm on top or we rule Equestria together!"

"Like Celestia and Luna. Hmm. Fine. But first you need to get used to those wings."
