I'm curious if she'll start slowly changing her Gemini form in order to better please Emerald, although he seems fairly enamored already. At least he's proving to be a much better/healthier meal than the endless junk food she's been getting up on stage, heh. The offer to dance at the palace was out of left field there however, although Luna's presence makes far more sense than having Celestia check out the local talent heating up the rumor mills. I'd be wary of actually taking the offer. Not that it would be everything she imagines it to be with the prestige, gold, and glitter, but also the darker side when dealing with powerful people- er, ponies in high positions. Blackmail, politics, and other unsavory things come to mind as well as being a pawn in their machinations.
Still, if her true changeling identity comes to light, her only protection might very well be running to the Princesses and throwing herself upon their mercies if a mob-driven witch hunt in the city is started. I'm assuming their race is as feared, misunderstood and [possibly] hated as it is in just about every other story.

Wow that's such an offer. I don't think she would like dancing for the rich snobs of canterlot tho
