Chapter 1

Fillies, Luna and Celestia were sitting in their bed room. Half was dark blue's and purple's, while the other was orange pink, and yellow. Pillows were everywhere because they were still in the stages of learning to fly and use magic. Luna was on her side, while Celestia, on her own. It was dawn so both ponies were up, Luna heading to bed, while Celestia just starting her day.

Celestia stomped her hoof."Well, aren't you going to bed?" Celestia asked annoyed.

"No, The sun is one of my stars. So I must stay up." Luna said, in a matter-of-fact voice.

"Mummy and Daddy said I am in charge of the sun!" Celestia said, crossing her hoofs against her chest while sitting on her hind legs."My cutie mark is also telling me that I am in charge of the sun. I, the oldest, the most important, get to raise the sun. I get to look over our subjects and make sure they frolic in MY sun."

" YOU ARE NOT THE MOST IMPORTANT!" Luna wailed."I am in control of the moon, which is in charge of the sea. So I am in charge of the sky and sea."

"You certainly aren't in charge of the sky. PONIES SLEEP WHILE YOU RULE!! THAT IS HOW BORED THEY ARE OF YOU!" Celestia yelled at her younger sister.

"Then explain the creatures that dwell in my night. Explain the ponies that count my stars for fun, explain the ponies that make pictures out of my stars. Explain Vincent van Gogh. HE MADE MASTERPICESES ABOUT MY STARS!"

"Whatever, younger one, I get to control the sun."

"Actually you don't. I do. The Sun is a star, so it is mine."

"Prove it" Celestia said, sure that Luna couldn't. and that she would win."Prove it right here right now."

Luna was frantic at first, not sure what to do. She knew that she was correct, but how could she prove it to her sister? Luna looked at her older sister, who was tapping her hoof impatiently. Her hoofs were crossed against her chest, tired of waiting when Luna wasn't even doing anything.

"Well?" Celestia asked.

Luna got an idea, she ran to her book shelf, that had books upon books about the stars and the moon. She had a secret place, where she held a book about the sun, and if anyone knew about it, Luna would get in big trouble, because it would look like she was trying to control the day. Luna sat and thought, Would it be worth the risk? Yes, yes it would. Luna grabbed a small key, that had the moon for a handle, and fitted it into the lock. She lifted the book out of its hiding spot, using her soft purple colored magic.

Cesestia gasped. But before she could yell out to her mom and dad, Luna put Duct Tape over her muzzle. "Please don't tell. I only wanted to learn more about the sun." She was scared regretting her idea, but Luna had to continue, whether she liked it or not. "IT SAYS RIGHT HERE!" Luna flipped to a page with a bright sun,"It says right here, 'The Sun is a star that gives warmth and light to Equestria.' A STAR! EVEN THE TEXT BOOKS ARE SAYING IT!" Little Luna stomped her tiny hoof. "I am right, please don't tell, I will give the book back, I promise." Luna ripped the tape off of her sister's muzzle.

"Oh, but I will tell Mum something." Celestia started to call for her mother.

The two tiny fillies called for their Mum and Dad. One, to tattletale, the other, to defend her self.

"What now, my little ponies?" Their mom, a beautiful alicorn asked, as she teleported to their room/

"Luna is saying she is in charge of the sun." Celestia pouted.

"But she isn't"Their mom agreed. " Luna, you know this. You are in charge of the stars and moon, and dreams, while your sister is in charge of the sun."

"NOT TRUE!" Luna yelled. " The moon also affects the tide, so I am also the princess of the sea. Not only that, but the Sun is a Star."

"Luna," her mom looked angry."How do you know about this?"

Celestia bust out, telling everything, that she knew.

"Celestia, I ask to to visit your subjects, there are a few out in the gardens"

"Yes, Mum"

"Luna, why did you have the book?" She asked calmly.

"I wanted to know more about the sun. To help Tia."

"Are you sure?"Her mom raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, Mum."

Celestia quickly transported back to her room. "Forgot to say good-day Luna, I will always have the sun."

"You're everyone's favorite, Tia," Luna grumbled as she climbed in her bed.

"Good-day to you too." Celestia stuck out her tongue at her younger sister, who was already asleep.
