"Long time no see, how've you been?" It sounds so forced having people talk like that. Floridly written words are one thing but this is what she's actively saying. She's making the conscious choice to speak in the most unnecessarily flowery and extended way possible.

7270414 I don't know if your opinion has changed, but I'm responding bc I have a conflicting one While it is certainly overly done and way too flowery, like you spilled perfume on it, I can confirm that talking this way is a thing. I did it in Elementary, developed a habit. It got to the point that simple wording confused me. I learned my lesson, eventually.
