This story is going great so far. Though, if you want to show that what is being said is only a thought and not out loud, use only a (') and not a ("). (") is for what is said outloud, and you used those for some of Spike's thoughts.

This chapter....really rubbed me the wrong way. I'm sorry, but there was too much 'no' for me in this chapter and sadly I'll have to end it here.
