7229085 You have to remember that its eons after humans extinction/ left earth. So the tanks they found are in a decayed or just plain horrible state not only that but they were extremely lucky finds. From old museums and things
Updates are always nice. Kind of sad to see the Tigers outclassed. Chieftains are good gear but I wonder will we see the Abrams next? Or if you really want to have fun, have Equestria get the MBT-70. The GI Joe jokes will write themselves.
7232314 XD I know right? We'll see. I might just stick with the chieftain for the rest of the story while possibly having some experimental tanks in the background going off the chieftain
7232080 I see. And while your argument is valid for things like the Tiger II, the IS-2 to a certain extent, as well as the Panther and the Firefly it still doesn't explain the lack of things like SU-85s and T-34-85s, but whatever, your story.
And while there already are a shit ton of WWII fabrics, using WWII tech doesn't count in my book.
Really the reason I made the comment was to express my slight disappointment at the lack of my favorite tanks (IS-2, Tiger 2, Firefly, and Panther mainly) getting action, especially since I personally consider WWII the "Golden Age" (if you can give that to a war machine) of Tanks, where they were the most effective; WWI tanks were beyond revolutionary, but they had just been invented; after WWII you now had HEAT ammo, infantry-based AT weapons such as the RPG, DU shells for AT guns and tanks to use, and if you had air support, or a 30mm Gatling gun, your armor probably won't mean much.
But WWII, while you did have HEAT ammo and Bazookas, they weren't as effective. Tanks had to worry about other tanks, TDs, AT guns, and infantry with enough balls to run up and stick x to them. Wait. Let's me rephrase this: in WWII you still had just about the same amounts of things to worry about, but they 1. Were not as effective (I.e. bazooka v.s. RPG) 2. Weren't as common (they've made 9,000,000 RPG-7s. In WWII they made 289,000 Panzerschrecks, German bazookas)
Damn! What is the tank in this chapter based on?
7228232 chieftain. mk5
Nothing more glorious then a story with a tank in it... tanks are fun.
Nice update!
7194359 Sadly, no. We have left WWII, whic is sad, becuas we could've had the IS-2,s Panthers, T-34-85s, adn Tiger IIs.
7228285 Well we all know THAT armor won't be penetrated

7229297 What does that have to do with me stating that the CHIEFTAIN is not going to get its (frontal/turret) armor penetrated?
7230652 I was talking about your comment with the IS2s and panthers. Besides they're WAY to many WW2 stories as it is

7232728 Always good. Now that I think about it, whatever happened to Rarity? She still a HQ doll playing with the radios?
