Cloudchaser's sister has disappeared in Trottingham, and the Guard won't even lift a hoof to help her. Desperate, she calls upon an old acquaintance, and is pulled into something far larger than a simple disappearance.
There are aspects of this that remind me of season 1 of Jessica Jones. Silent as the distant, unempathetic PI. Messerschmitt with the ability to control ponies. They're not totally comparable (Jessica Jones is a seriously damaged character who comes with enough emotional baggage to fill a shipping container, while Silent Rivers seems more defective than damaged. Kilgrave's powers are intrinsically his, while Messerschmitt's power seems to come from those gems and may have something to do with a blunt knife from an old folktale. And while the story of Jessica Jones is about surviving and overcoming abuse, Messerschmitt has been building some sort of chauvinism cult.), but there are some parallels.
