Role Model

Many ponies ask me why I look up to Rainbow. She's self-centered, a show off, and thinks only about herself. Why do I need a role model like her? The truth is I don't see her ego. To me, it's a speck of dust compared to what I do see. Sure she isn't perfect, but why would I want her to be? If she was perfect, I can never be like her. So whenever she falls, it reminds me that she's just like me with flaws of her own. It helps me see that I can be like her. I can be loyal to my friends, I can be a great flier, and I can be the best I can be; and when I do fall, I know my friends will see the real me and stick by my side. That's why I look up to Rainbow Dash.
