would have to cry bullshit here. one thing to pick up something like an earth pony when they will not be that resistant. another when they are flailing, meaning they are putting stress on the telekinesis and thus the wielder. in other words he would be too busy picking her up to levitate a single other thing.
especialyl cause earth ponies have great strenght....... kinda theri thing.

We've seen Twi freeze at least 5 ponies at once during Castle-Mania, so levitating ponies with magic, especially when you're not restricting their movement, shouldn't be out of the question for certain unicorns, especially if they are somewhat related to an immortal alicorn princess, have had plenty of time to study magic, and have a cutie mark that likely involves magic like his.
Also, when I posted chapter 25, where he levitates Vinyl, who I doubt would be unresisting when she's being raped, why didn't you comment then? Is what I'm doing here so different?
4572937 there difference there is that vinyl is a unicorn, and thus her struggles are limited. octavia is in fact an earth pony, a species naturally able to shatter buildings, lift great weight, stay awake with constant activity for days, and even pinkie pie is probably able to crush stone if she gets the angle right.
in other words he would have to somehow restrain a being with enormous physical prowess and that is likely to exert a lot of strain to keep that in check. at the very least it would make levitating anything else impossible. the problem is not lifting, it is how active the victim is. and likely an earth pony exerts a whole lot of force during a struggle.
also with twilight they were not exactly extra resisting it, and she is an Alicorn, a whole different scale of magic than a unicorn.
with that last part, it is implying that blueblood actually has any competence to speak of.
even if he does, i do not think he has magical talent and his relation to celestia is extremely far removed. on luna and celestia's mother side if the information i know is right, so he is not a direct descendant of the celestia either way.
actually learned that he was supposed to be called Duke blueblood before, but they changed it because they were not certain very many kids would know what a duke is.

While I'd hate to cause a flame war on my own story, I do think I'll have to call bullshit right back at you for that. If this were true, Applejack shouldn't have to hire Rainbow Dash's help to demolish a barn. While Maud may be able to crush rocks with her bare hooves, I wouldn't say that's a natural thing for earth ponies to do. The mane six looked astonished enough when it happened.
Besides which, Blueblood has plenty to his character left up to interpretation. The strength of his magic is left largely unknown, his relation to Celestia is not directly explained, and his character is defined only by how he acted during the gala. These details can be manipulated to give him a certain character in fanfiction, such as in mine, where I am making him a legitimate threat for plot reasons, and to ensure that obviously wrong choices are punished accordingly. It also adds to his antagonist nature in the story. Regardless of what show staff may have said about Blueblood and how he was developed, the final result of what we see on screen is all that we know for certain, leaving Blueblood with a world of character possibilities.
I could also very well object to your explanation of telekinesis, where you say it would somehow take more lifting force if the pony were flailing to keep them airborne.
While I appreciate your concerns, a lot of what you claim as true is only one way of interpreting the show as headcanon. Unfortunately, our views seem to conflict about earth pony strength, Blueblood's competence, and other things. I cannot hope to satisfy everyone with my writing, and I admit that such is true. This is my own humble way of making a semi-original narrative, but I can't force you to agree with my views on how Equestria works.
I hope I haven't offended you, and you can feel free to respond to this comment however you like. In order to prevent undue anger and flames, however, I will only leave you with this. Please know that your opinion has been taken into account, and I respect you as much as anyone else, but trying to write good porn narrative is hard enough without debating obscure things that don't matter much to the plot. As the internet saying goes, "shut up and fap."
4573181 yeah demolish the barn and have it all fall on her head........ common sense there dude, rainbow dash could demolish more safely.
that is their attribute. they are called Earth ponies not cause they walk on the ground but because of nature connections and strength. Meghan mccarthy noted that they are strong, and the finale confirmed they have unnatural strength.
and it has to be beyond them just be a few shies stronger physcially the pegasi or unicorns too. the strength is part of their magic after all. them not being so strong that it is enhanced would be equivalent to this
of course it depends on the fantasy. a more subdued fantasy would have it that the enhanced prowess was less notable......... problem is mlp is easily classed as High fantasy and we have seen earth ponies that are neither the apple family nor maud pie able to destroy things fairly easily. Cheerilee and rarity's door for example.
with the telekinesis is use this basis. it takes a lot of effort to lift something that is very heavy for a unicorn, it causes them strain. if the target was moving violently it would disrupt the magical field use to hold them. if the target had so much physical force it could smash down doors it would be even worse.
the more the magic is disrupted the harder it is for the unicorn to maintain focus. another example i can use is when rarity was hold that newspaper and sweetie belle managed to swat it out of the air without effort. it suddenly made to move disrupted the magic field. and something alive would be moving a lot.
4573271 So what you're saying is, in a fic designed around bad endings, you'd like for a good ending. Also the writer's correct, Blueblood's magic has never been established in the show. Neither has Octavia's strength. AJ's that strong because she works the fields, Maud's likely stronger because she worked ROCK fields, Tavi plays music for a living. Seems to me she shouldn't be strong enough to tear down buildings, heck knocking out two guards and unhinging a vent is impressive enough for someone who plays the cello for a living.

Despite all these tangents we've gone out on, after your description of how you imagine telekinesis working, I now have a better idea of the issue you present. While I still might have a few arguments with your theory, this is a much simpler issue now.
The chapter has been edited so that Blueblood is now only levitating a part of her tail, and using that to dangle her above the ground. Hopefully this change will solve the issue by weakening the magical force required by Blueblood to something you'll accept, and also making Tavi's flailing ineffective for disrupting the magic since it is out of her reach.
Everything better now? I hope so. Now we can all get back to happily fapping, and stop this pointless arguing.

Just to note, I do have good endings planned. They will just be much less common than bad ones, and require the right choices at the right times.
All fear those hooves of grey, for they have played on the devil's fiddle. Heads shall roll, blood shall be spilled, and bones shall be shattered before those hooves give in.
4573686 cheerilee cna break down doors and not get hurt. besides the earth pony strength is not all muscle. it is also magic as well. that is why they lost it when tirek stole their magic. oddly enough he had to grow strong enough to steal their power while unicorns were typically vulnerable.
basically having great strenght means you can break shit. if that is fueled by high fantasy style magic, you can break a lot of shit.
also considering his simpering nature it seems clear that he is not very powerful at all. if he had strong magic he would have more confidence and have less simpering. he made fluttershy seem more manly, disregarding fluttershy terrorized the entirety of canterlot's animal population in one night....
4573727 Huge fan of bad ends so I'm not complaining either way.
4573732 He didn't really seem simpering to me, he was fairly confident at the Gala... he was just kind of a huge douche and really petty when it came to his looks.
