Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy's day out

Find Bob!

"What is our mission!?" Pinkie yells to herself, like she is an army sergeant, as she then quickly quickly moves slightly to the left to answer her own question, "To find Bob sir!" She then moves back to the right and asks herself yet another question "and what will we do once we find Bob?" She glares for a bit, before realising she needs to answer her own question so she moves again, "We will return him to Fluttershy, sir!" Fluttershy looks on, confused as to what Pinkie Pie is doing, but just waiting for Pinkie Pie to finish her... Drill sergeant orders... To herself, before she feels like she can begin searching, knowing Pinkie Pie will be focused. "Ok! Let's go find Bob then Fluttershy! I'm going to loo-" her voice trails off as something catches her eye, "ooooooohhhh." She gazes at this beautiful object as it flies in the wind, Pinkie starts to follow it, only to lose sight of it once Fluttershy turns her around. "Please Pinkie Pie... Try to focus on what we want to do..." Fluttershy said, trying not to sound like she's ordering Pinkie around
"Mhm, sorry Fluttershy, I'll look over there!" Her hoof points off near the everfree forest entrance, where she saw the beautiful object fly past. "Oh, okay, I'll look near the house then." Fluttershy responded as they both went in their separate directions and started searching.

"Psst." Pinkie Pi... Wait... You're talking to me again aren't you... "Of course I am! Now, where did Bob go?" - To be honest pinkie, I don't have a clue. "Awwww~" Pinkie wailed. "You're no help!" -- And you're not supposed to be interacting with me... -ahem- anyway... Pinkie Pie was searching fervently for where Bob could have possibly have jumped off, she watched her step to be sure she didn't step on him by accident. "Bob~ where are~ you~?" Pinkie drawled in a quiet tone, not expecting a response, but more of a rustle, then she remembered how small he was and so she put her face really close to the dirt, thinking that would help her cause.

***Meanwhile, back at the house Fluttershy was checking***

-knock knock knock- "H-hello... Again... If anyone is in here now... Ummm... I just want to check inside your house to try and find a little critter I lost... That's... Um... If it's ok with you." Fluttershy said into the abandoned house. There was no response so Fluttershy opened the door and walked in. As she began her search, she started with around the door, because of how small he was, he could be around the door somewhere, but searching around the door proved to be fruitless. After that she proceeded to look around the house, near the flora covered furniture -- being sure to check every crevice Bob could have possibly disappeared to. "Oh no, he doesn't seem to be anywhere around here." Fluttershy said to herself, after searching every possible place she could think of inside the house.

***Meanwhile near the entrance of the everfree forest -- where Pinkie Pie was searching***

"Hmmm, I wonder why that giant manticore didn't follow us in here..." Pinkie wondered to herself, "Ah, who cares, I need to look for Bob! For Fluttershy!" Pinkie continued. "Bob~ where are you~." Pinkie drawled, not expecting a response, but more of a rustle. After a while of searching, Pinkie became distracted. The same beautiful object that caught her eye earlier was now flying around again! "Hehehe! I'm going to get it now!" Pinkie said, with a determined expression on her face. The object had many colours, so it caught Pinkie's attention quickly, and it was flying around, giving Pinkie Pie a challenge as to how she would catch it. She started following, jumping as high as she could to try and grab it, but being cautious as not to crush it with her hooves. "Aw~ this just isn't working! If I try to grab it, I might end up crushing it, and that'll be no good. I could go get Fluttershy, but then I'd probably lose it again..." She stopped talking to herself because she was running out of breathe trying to keep up with the flying object as it was, and it wasn't helping that she was talking to herself while she was at it. After a while it started to slow down "Gotcha!" Pinkie said to herself as she jumped up and cupped the small flying object, landing flat on her stomach while she was at it, but making sure she didn't crush it. She slowly un-cupped her hooves from around the object, being cautious as to not let it fly again, and -- what are the chances -- it looked exactly like Bob did... Sort of... But more colors... and wings... It looked like a rainbow parasprite... But when Pinkie saw it, her eyes lit up! "I FOUND BOB!" She yelled. "I FOUND HIM~ I FOUND HIM~." She kept yelling at the top of her lungs. When Fluttershy saw Pinkie jumping and heard her screaming, she knew it had to be good news, she flew straight over, "Did you find Bob!?" Fluttershy exclaimed excitedly
"YEP!" Pinkie yelled back in reply, through her sheer excitability of that time.
"That's great! Can i see him?" Fluttershy asked
"Of course!" Pinkie replied, slowly un-cupping her hooves. When Fluttershy saw the small creature, she didn't think it was Bob, she was quite sad actually "... Pinkie... This isn't Bob..." Fluttershy said, softly scraping the ground with her right forehoof, looking slightly upset. "Yes it is! I mean look at him! He's just as small as Bob was, but he has wings now!" Just as Pinkie said that, the creature looked up at Fluttershy and flew straight to her, and snuggled inside her mane again. "... I still don't think it's Bob... but he is adorable..." Fluttershy admitted.
"But he is Bob! See! He's snuggling in your mane just like Bob did." Pinkie Pie looked confused, and felt a bit down, as if her efforts to find Bob had been trodden on. "Oh... I-I'm sorry Pinkie..." Fluttershy said, as she looked in her mane again at the small creature, "You know what, he really is like Bob, I'm sorry Pinkie, maybe that's why he went away, to get these wings and new colors!" Fluttershy tried to say, as excited as possible to make Pinkie happy again. Her efforts payed off, as Pinkie returned a massive grin and said "See! I told you Fluttershy!" As Pinkie Pie was hopping up and down with joy, Fluttershy kept looking at the small creature, still unsure as to if it was Bob.

Fluttershy now looked up to the sky, the sun started going down, and Pinkie was wrapped up in joy of exploring, but Fluttershy felt like they should get going home. "Um... Pinkie... I think we should start going home now... It's getting dark..." Fluttershy shudders, "when it gets dark... The everfree forest gets... Weird...er." Fluttershy manages to say.
"Aw~... Fine~." Pinkie drawled in weak protest and started to follow Fluttershy, before realising she could be the lead explorer and then jumped in front of Fluttershy and said "If we're going home, I'm going to make the discoveries!" Pinkie Pie said, playfully eyeing off Fluttershy.
