And to think, all of this shit would have been avoided if there weren't such hostility between the two groups...
Seriously, why was it such a huge deal that a changeling fell in love with a pony?? History has already repeated itself, TWICE, since Raul and Adalricus exist, so there can be a "happy medium". Not to mention that King Sombra and Queen Chrysalis do have some feelings for each other (why else would Adalricus come to be??). Fluttershy's even more shy than previous to the point that she's a shut in, Pinkie's probably a couple of sad thought from turning into Pinkamena because she really misses Raul, Adalricus is on a vicious self-hating binge at the moment...
Ironically, it is Sombra, of all the players on stage, that probably has the best possible solution for the situation--even though he's rightly irritated about what happened to his son, I got to give him props since he's actually stepping out there and at least know more about this girl that his son is so smitten for. And I have to assume that unlike Chrysalis, Sombra kinda trusts his son on his judgment.
That little dialogue between Adalricus, Luna, and Cadence do present quite a conundrum--first, is there any way to actually get Flutter and the Prince together again; and second, will Shy finally accept that even though Adalricus is a changeling, he's still the same guy that she fell in love with, and that it should only matter what works on the inside instead of what one sees on the outside?
With all of this on the horizon, it kinds sucks a little that there is only one more chapter left...
7006190 You're not wrong but this story DOES need to end; it's been long overdue and I finally have a chance to end things. But I assure you, that I am putting a lot of consideration for a pleasing ending.
