It's actually almost finished. I've been recovering from surgery since Friday (it was minor, everything's fine), and since I've been instructed to not engage in strenuous activity, I've been writing.

It's not very long, and it obviously won't wrap up any currently outstanding tales, but there you have it.

Only the first chapter has been updated, but that might be fine, as it was the worst offender with being out of sync with the rest of the Strangerverse. I was wrong as revisions; what it needed was a substantial rewrite. Some of it was ok; most of it needed to be redone.

And I may will be spending a fair portion of it editing A Matter of Interest. I chanced to try reading it again today, and it is now so horribly out of sync with the Strangerverse that is basically bad fan fiction of my bad fan fiction.

I wish to stress this; I do not have new material to publish for this story yet. I will merely be updating it so that it actually matches what now exists before it (it is now technically a sequel to The Strangers in Ponyville).

Trying to hammer out the sequel to The Unicorn and the Stranger has not been going as well as I hoped.

So, I decided to focus on someone else for a bit instead. Don't forget you can check progress (sort of) on my user page.

Although I expected to have it up last Wednesday or Thursday, The Unicorn and the Stranger will be sent for publishing March 17, 2015 at approximately 10 AM Pacific Daylight Time. Why, yes, A Matter of Interest is tagged for this blog. No, there is no update for it forthcoming; truthfully, I think I'll go back and do some more revisions, this time to update the prose. My style changes over time, and after a year, it's probably going to be quite noticeable. I may want to strike a different tone going forward, too. Unsure yet.
