Due to the (underwhelming) vote poll I put up, I have decided to officially cancel the Soldier and his Rider and rewrite the whole story. Expect the first chapter soon.
To those who were looking forward to the original series, my profound apologies.
After taking some time reflecting on the breakdown that was my deletion of what could have been the next chapter of The Soldier and his Rider a thought came out; What if I started fresh in a different perspective? One issue I find myself with this series is that I constantly insert lore from other worlds that my sister and I created when this series was suppose to be a fish-out-of-water story where a British Great War soldier and his horse explore the world of Equestria. Sadly, I feel that is
G'day all.
You know those days when you finally broke out of your Writer's block and you spent a weeks worth of effort to squeeze every bit of creative juices you managed to pull off from said writer's block; only to accidentally delete all your efforts when your mouse conveniently falls on the floor and conveniently click the delete button as it fell? Welp, here we are now and I am mad as Hell! I almost finished the damn chapter and this happens.
Okay, so.... I've been sitting on this desk for the past two weeks thinking to myself how do I continue with the Soldier and his Rider's new chapter? Turns out, it has been going well until I reached a rut. I've exhausted myself with the story currently and now with classes over for me and a new DnD campaign that really pumped me up with the mood (and with a lengthy discussion with my sister (Happy Birthday, btw)) I've decided to take a break from The Soldier and his Rider and try to focus on
Ladies, Gentlemen and everything else inbetween, I have some good news and bad news.
I'll start with the bad news; updates for Hearts of Harmony and Words of Advice will be considerably slowed down due to these reasons:
G'day all,
So after reviewing (and re-proofreading) I am sorry to say that I am not happy with the outcome of Chapter 5. I had a different idea when I first started writing the story of how the outcome would be; I had a completely different mindset of what I had to improvise when I started the chapter; and I was not satisfied when I completed this chapter.
