Quick lore dump about the differences in pegasi and nigh ponies, both in abilities and mindsets.

Night ponies and pegasi have a very similar wing structure. If you were to pluck a pegasus of all their feathers and look underneath, the wing would look very similar to the night pony's. The flesh of a night pony would be thinner, and there is a protruding finger that night ponies have on their wings that pegasi lack.

The next few chapters of Starting Over will all occur at the mall. Malls are big places, and there are many things to see and do, too much for me to put into one chapter without making it excessively long. So, expect at least three chapters in a row of the mall.

I looked at the current chapter I have in progress and decided that it might be better to scrap it and write a different chapter. The reason being is the chapter in it's original form had Sunset and Number trying to once again confront Lantian about her racism. This has been a theme throughout the Pandemic series, but this chapter would have been one of the most heavy-handed confrontations of it yet. With that in mind. I'm going to step back and do a rewrite of the chapter.

There's a mystery afoot in Wabash Manor, the creepy old mansion has a secret, and the first clues that something isn't right are in the current chapter. There will be more clues to the mystery in coming chapters. Pay close attention, small details can mean a lot.

We passed through the wrought-iron gates of the manor grounds a few minutes later. The grounds were indeed big and heavily wooded on all sides—something you wouldn't expect in a major metropolitan area like Denver. It was like we were going to some retreat far out in the middle of nowhere, instead of a location within the city limits.

A new chapter in Starting Over for the Ponies at Walmart should be coming soon. There's a lot of shopping to be done and a lot of ponies to run into. So expect there to be a part 3 after part 2 is released. So if your OC doesn't make it into part 2, and wasn't in part 1, don't worry. I'm getting to it.

Most of the Starting Over chapters have been 2000-3000 words, and I plan on keeping to that plan. With that in mind, Ponies at Walmart will almost certainly be a multichapter event.
