The premise reminds me so much like the background of my little Ironheart that it'd sound like a relief to see a film so daring and bold and accusatory. Especially calling out society and the modern media.

Especially the girl with cerebral palsy who got bullied in the locker room, the kid with the broken finger, and the Boys II Men poet who got rejected in front of everyone.

I fantasize about the darkest things sometimes. Like breaking shins and jaws of jerks like them. Aww, it hurts, doesn't it? Doesn't that hurt, you filthy little dog?

A user named Dark-Quantum recently finished reading The Pony of Vengeance, and was so impressed and so moved by the story that he decided to name a gun after the main character, Ironheart. And... Wow. That's astounding to me. It's so strange to think that I had an effect like that on people.

Wow... Was I always so wordy? I used so much dialogue that it seems to drag on and on and on. And so. Many. Hypothetical questions! It was one of my earliest fics, though. I suppose I still needed to understand how to cut down on heavy dialogue.

Wow... just wow. Pony of Vengeance took MLP and spun it on its head, prompting serious questions about the possibility of a pony going WAY too far just to get revenge on a world he feels he was hurt by. The Main Six were written quite well, with their characterization being pretty on point, although I think Dashie should have thought a little more about Ironheart's Point of view and how it would affect her relationship with the rest of the cast.

Have you ever noticed just how many questions are in my prose in Pony of Vengeance? How most of the time it's hypothetical question after hypothetical question, not leaving a chance for those questions to be answered? Or elaborately worded statements designed to make you ponder more than you want to?

Shoot, did I just do it now? Dang it!

What if I made a spin-off story where Ironheart abducts the Paul brothers and holds them hostage? Or what if he fights against Isis or the Shining Path? Or he marches into a drunk, sexualized rave of a college party and slaughters everyone inside?

That would be going too far, in my opinion, but it's an idea that's been in my head for a while now.

The Pony of Vengeance is finished.

Now, all that's left is The Only Power That Really Matters, coming as soon as I get a chance to publish it.

I am hard at work writing out a two-parter finale to it. The chapters are called, "Catastrophic Warfare."

Now, that sounds frickin' awesome. But after that, there will be only one more short chapter, called, "The Only Power That Really Matters." And if you've been paying attention to the story, you know what power it's referring to.

Finally, there will be an epilogue to the whole thing, plus an author's note. So look for all that in the weeks to come.

Another chapter for Pony of Vengeance is done! It'll be released half an hour from now. This chapter has been playing out in my head for months now, and I've been writing and thinking about this one scene in my head for a long, long time.
