I am working on a piece with the talented Ego as you may or may not know. But, now I am conflicted... The plans started before season 4's finale; and the story is based on modern Equestria history. So, my conflict is this: Do I write another chapter to the story for the fourth season, or was the fourth season not important enough to detail in history?

Yes, it's reached that time. Know Your Mare has to end... Really this time. Ten chapters left, three of which are already planned (which is really special since I've NEVER planned a KYM episode). It's time we cross that road and start my newer projects. Nothing will be as bombastic as Know Your Mare; partly because with today's rules in the site, Know Your Mare-esque stories would be shot down before they could even take five steps. Which, to me, makes Know Your Mare a rare breed of stupidity.
