You know, it's my opinion that groups need to be more than just a place where a collection of stories can be found. Because if that's all there is to them then what point is there having a group? So why don't we get some socialization going on here. We can start by introducing ourselves.

My name is Lovecolt, though other names I tend to go by are Shadari and Octavia. I'm 22 of the Female Gender and I currently live in the United States of America though I did live some in Australia.
Some of my favourite things in Ponies are fan fictions and Musics, both of which I attempt to produce, and on occasion I attempt to produce artwork. I am currently a professional writer working on commission, though I am studying to become an audio engineer.
I really enjoy steampunk, though I prefer clockpunk when ever possible. There's just something magical to me about clockwork.

Favourite pony is Octavia (Obvs, because she shares a name with me.), with close ties of Vinyl Scratch and Mayor Mare. Best of the Mane 6 is Rarity, with a close second in Twilight Sparkle.

Nice to meet you Guy, pleasure to meet you.

Russia is awesome, as is Space. Space? SPACE? SPAAAAAAAAAACE! In my professional work I tend to lean a lot towards space operas and the like.

And I'm assuming that crazy weird forms of punk would be like cheesepunk.... I'm not even sure how that would work. Hmm.. cheesepunk... I'll get on that, eventually. If I remember.

Also of course this was a good idea, and hopefully it'll cause some socialisation in the group. Because when socilisation happens, then friendships form. And when friendships form the magical portal to equestria grows a little bit stronger.

Hey Valen, I feel I've interacted with you before. Unno, the name Valen just seems familiar to me.

What do you mean by 'writing an snow'? I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to get with that. Steampunk is awesome, as is Lovecraft.

Derpy and Luna are great ponies, though I don't like Rainbow Dash all that much.

sorry stupid sticky keys. but what I ment was i enjoy writing, form something as smiple as a poem to something very intercate and complex. And with snow its more related to winter time sports like, snowboarding, iceskating, hockey, or just having a snowball fight with friends or my family and making snow ponies.

Ah, I see. Also suggestion, when replying to someone hover over the comment you're replying to and you'll see a couple of word bubbles appear in the upper-right corner. It'll link your current comment to that one (Though you can delete it if you don't want to connect it for some reason in which case it'd be faster to just comment) and let that person know you're replying to them. Otherwise it won't notify anyone, even the creator of the thread (Which I find is weird but whatever)

Hello 647656, the name's Brent, but my friends call me Cyber or 5. I'm a nineteen year boy and I live in Utah, U.S.A.. As my username suggests, which is also my nickname in real life, my interests are in machines, with my other interests are in Time and Space theories.

I have written three stories. my first fic is called Surprise, the second is a WIP called A New Point of View with 67 chapters in it and still growing, my third fic is called A Soul in Steel and Iron and it is part of the Chess Game of the Gods where I have infused my interest of machines in it.

Always been fascinated by airships and steam punk universes, currently in love with the game ‘Guns of Icarus’ still can’t play it but what the hell, love the idea of living and working on an airship, sadly the navy is the closest thing there is, so that will do. Trying to write fanfics, not going to publish any until they are finished and I am really happy to find this group.

Favourite pony: Princess Luna and Fluttershy

Hello, everyone! I'm obviously new here, and was recently referred to this group by the illustrious Esteem_punk. I've always loved the 'punk' genres, and I look forward to discussing them and reading about them with you all.

My favorite 'punk' genres are (in no particular order) biopunk, dieselpunk/decopunk, cyberpunk, and raygun gothic/atompunk. I'm really interested in hearing about the newest punk genres as well, and I'd love to discuss the creations of new genres, or perhaps the blending of two or more preexisting genres.

Howdy, Name’s Garnot, though the name “Ed” is also acceptable. I just recently found this group, and have decided it is likely one of the best places to speak—which I often don’t do. I’ve been fascinated by the Punk Genres for quite some time, likely before I could even recollect. The lack of love for such a genre however, has always struck me as harrowing. It’s for that reason that I’ve chosen to make my newest story use the tragically under-used “dungeon punk” genre. Other than the Punk scene, I enjoy Noir, Pulp, and cosmic horror/lovecraftian genres. All of these have shaped me as a writer.

Favorite Equine: Bow down to the glorious Princess Luna, regent of the holy night.

Hi there! My name's sentience, and I often prefer it to be all lower case for some reason. Anyways, I'm pretty young amongst all of you guys here, being only 14, but I love science fiction, especially steampunk. Also, I've had an account on FIMFiction before but I decided I'd start fresh with a new one. I usually keep most of my writing to myself but I hope to publish some of my work soon!

My favorite pony is Rainbow Dash, by the way.

Gender: Male (Hopefully it stays that way!)

Joined this group through That 1 Guy's story Clockwork, I enjoy model making (Planes and boats), science fiction, gaming (Half-Life, Portal, sciency stuff that isn't just a corridor shooter) and writing! Though i suffer from a severe lack of long-term motivation, I'll attempt to see my fics through! Joined very recently. Avid Whovian. Accepts donations of cookies, property, goats, jumbo jets and muffins. Luna is best pony. Doctor And Derpy are best background ponies, and Discord is best non-pony. *Suddenly realises I have to breathe*

Well, I'm new to the forum and this might be a necropost, but why the heck not...

Name: I'm The Hat Man, but my real first name's Michael.
Age: Old enough to have a Master's degree. That's as much as I'll say.
Gender: Male
Residence: Houston, Texas
Other: I collect top hats, I mix cocktails, I love animated TV and movies, and I can speak Japanese (I lived in Japan for 3 years). I'm not much of a shipper, but I enjoy anything that stays true to the characters and general tone of the original show with few exceptions.

I'm a long-time sci-fi fan but I have a real affinity for Victorian-ear fashion (hence my top hat collection [I'm up to 6 different ones as of this posting] and aesthetics in particular, so steampunk has a lot of attraction for me. One of the things I like about MLP is that it's not totally modern or totally fantastic in its setting. I think of it as being a more Industrial Age setting with some modern things here and there along with some magitech devices.

I'm not new to fanfics; I've been writing them for over a decade! But I am new to this site and this group. I'm writing a story about a steampunk-style robot (though she doesn't really run on steam, though her inner workings are gear-and-clockwork based) that Twilight discovers and there are numerous references and devices that fit a steampunk theme. It's a new type of writing for me, but I look forward to reading more stories in that style. I won't plug it here, but I'll add it to the group later or you can find it from my profile, if you're curious.

It's a pleasure to meet you!
