Well, RD and Pinkie are friends but RD tends to get annoyed with Pinkie and RD rarely fights with Rarity which is why I think RD would perfer Rarity as a friend (one of the reasons I don't get PinkieDash and one of the reasons why RariDash is one Yuri shippings I'm good with)
