Is the ban related to the alternat acount? I know it is a good/bad chance, even if there are several legitimate reasons to have not just one, but a few of them. Like one for publishing, and another to read from work.

The problem is if you misuse your multiple acounts for questionable purposes. Either upvoting yourself, or the bad kind of stalking others.
