Recently I've started publishing the story The Ponyville Rag, which started out in an unassuming way, as an attempt at a homage to a band I've loved since my teens (a Brazilian group called Legião Urbana). Eventually, the story started to grow and consume me, and I just felt obliged to finish it.

This story is not just a story about musicians, but it's an ode to the transformative power of music, and to how our lives can be changed by the act of getting together with someone (or somepony) and making sound--even though the journey is far from easy or perfect. With the story focused entirely on a group of original characters, The Ponyville Rag is about art, passion, trust and love. And it might also be about the power of friendship, crazy as that might be!
