(And it's possible that "Nana Pinkie" is actually a great-grandmother or a great-aunt or something.)

4798035 In English, you can have Two grannies, one on each side of the family, while there is nothing against the next gen Grand granny as well.
4800338 Now there are Too many Pinkie Pie's again .. but there is a G3 Pinkie Pie who is actually a younger version of the Pinkie we see in G4.
On that note, she seems to be ageless and a filly in a Mare's body; rather than a dumbed down Mare.
