The only judge will be me. The contest will run from now until 2021 Dec 09.

Prizes

If there are at least two "good" entries, the winner will receive $40 and the runner-up will receive $10.

Otherwise, the winner will receive $30.

If there is a better turnout than expected, the prize pool will increase accordingly. This is just the minimum.

i do intend to read all good-faith non-M-rated entries from start to finish, but i have to thread the needle between not explicitly writing out all the obvious content restrictions (since i'd naturally miss some), allowing latitude for M-rated stories, and giving myself an out in case somebody submits something i can't get through, which is very easy for M-rated stories even if written with good faith and decent mechanical skill in writing (uncanny valley!)

in all seriousness, crossovers are definitely fine, as long as the story can be understood and appreciated on its own. historical humans are definitely fine. real-life, living humans would be case-by-case since that can definitely be in really bad taste. but if it's a national-level politician, well, i'd imagine a story about them kissing a pastel horse would get easily lost in the sea of weird stuff said about them online, so that seems fine

Are crossovers allowed, provided the character from the crossover is a human woman? I've got a strange idea on the backburner that I'm just over 1000 words into, but if that's not what you're looking for I can easily make something else.

One final question...is there a hard word count limit? Because, uh...I THOUGHT mine was gonna be only a couple thousand words, at most, but it's gotten away from me. I'm 6K words in, and I've still got more to go.
