Hello, all!

Up until now, this group has been primarily concerned with cleaning out some of the older stories in the general folder. This has been going pretty well, but we are aware that many of these stories have been gathering dust for over a year. While many of you have been waiting patiently, many more have forgotten they submitted at all, and may not be interested in having their stories reviewed anymore.

To give us all - reviewers and authors included - a fresh slate, the review team has decided to do a bit of spring cleaning. What does this mean? Well…

We will be removing everything from the general folder and starting fresh on April 2nd.

But wait! Don’t panic! This isn’t the reckoning it sounds like!

Fics still in the general folder may be removed, but this doesn’t mean they are rejected. You are more than welcome to resubmit anything that was already in general. This is a measure purely to make sure that the dusty, forgotten fics of inactive authors aren’t put ahead of people who still want to be reviewed.

In addition, reviewers’ personal folders will remain intact. If your fic has already been claimed by a reviewer and is waiting in their submitted/read folder, your review is still on the way!

With that out of the way, let’s go over how the submission process will work:

On Saturday, April 2nd, 2022, everything remaining in the general folder will be purged completely. The general folder will then open, and anyone will be allowed to place any of their own fics in that folder.

Each author will only be allowed to submit two different fictions under 300k words for review across all submission folders - general and personal. In addition, you are only permitted one submission to each personal folder at a time - for example, you may submit one fic directly to Zontan and one fic directly to Red, but not two fics directly to Zontan. This will be checked. If your submissions do not follow these guidelines, all of your submissions will be removed.

The general folder will close when it has reached 30 submissions, or when 24 hours have passed - whichever comes first. It will remain closed until all fics have been either reviewed or rejected.

Individual reviewer folders will remain open until their individual quotas have been reached. Check those out below:

The Red Parade (profile / reviewer info): opening personal folder, accepting 3 new fics (a total of 5 in the “Submitted for Review - The Red Parade” folder

Mushroom (profile / reviewer info): opening personal folder, accepting 5 new fics (a total of 10 in the “Submitted for Review - Mushroompone” folder)

Zontan (profile / reviewer info): not opening personal folder.

Scoping Landscape (profile / reviewer info): not opening personal folder.
