Ironic Sequel to

• The Finale is Overhated

A year or 2 years ago I was defending the MLP finale (specifically the 2 part finale). Even if I haven’t seen it from 2 years ago. After thinking it over, the 2 part finale sucks (need to rewatch the epilogue some day). The reason I was defending the 2 part finale, was that I had seen so many people defending it and painting people who criticizes aspects of it as spoiled brats, painting the finale as objectively good and we have to love it. Also some of the criticisms of the MLP FIM finale (wanting the 3 villains to reform and thinking there friends) would make us look like laughingstocks. Looking back on the show; after that scene from Frenemies, the villains weren’t friends, on the next episodes.

If you go to cartoon community’s thoughts on other cartoons like Steven Universe, Star vs, Spongebob, Miraculous, The Loud House, etc. Cartoons already well hated like PPG2016 are included. You will see a lot more hatred for them and allowance to be harsh on them (which includes the finales for SU and Star vs, Miraculous fans mad that Chloe didn’t get redeemed by the creator saying she is “irredeemable,” complaining that the Loud House turned bad, etc).

But in MLP FIM’s case, if you talk negatively about the 2 part finale. A lot of fans would convince you otherwise, making us having to accept that it’s good and hating it for wrong reasons. But with other cartoons like SU, Star vs, ML, Spongebob, Loud House, etc and already well hated cartoons (PPG2016, etc). You can hate and be harsh on them.
