Contests and rules are announced through the discord server. You're going to have to join it to participate and get further instructions!

They vary a lot too. Some are speedwrites in the very truest sense: suddenly announced with different times to write, edit, and submit. Some have prizes, and some do not. Some have long periods in which to submit prompts to vote on in a general theme and then write once the most popular prompt is chosen over on our Reddit page.

I tend to go for the more scheduled ones rather than the spontaneous "panic fiction" speedwrites that occasionally pop up, but I like how our little community has a lot of variety, and we're generally pretty fun and supportive, should you choose to join.
