The sergeant, a Pegasus, looked on in a mix of awe and a twinge of horror, while the Lieutenant offered and crisp and professional salute in return.

“At ease.” He smirked when even this command failed to shrink the massive mountain of a mare before them. “They make them any bigger where you’re from, Corporal?”

“Not many, sir.” She smirked herself, once again going through the familiar routine of stallions being put off by her size. “This won’t be a problem will it, sir?”

“Quite the opposite.” The Lieutenant said under his breath, before shaking himself back to his senses. “We have rounds to get to. Sergeant.”

The Pegasus, jolted for a second before offering his own salute and took off to see to his own duties.
